Insya'allah pada hari sabtu 3 hb november ini akan bermulalah satu lagi perjalanan sebuah filem yang saya rasa mungkin menjadi salah sebuah filem terpenting saya, kerana topiknya amat dekat di hati saya iaitu perhubungan di antara seorang bapa dengan seorang anak. Kisah-kisah tentang kekejaman ke atas anak-anak kita telah mendorong saya untuk melihat semula perhubungan saya dengan keluarga dan membuat saya menilai betapa pentingnya kehidupan berkeluarga dalam hidup saya.
Papadom adalah kisah mengenai seorang bapa 'workoholic' yang bekerja keras untuk memberi kesenangan dunia kepada keluarganya tetapi satu hari kehilangan isterinya. Sebelum isterinya meninggal dunia beliau membuat suaminya berjanji agar beliau akan menjaga anak mereka sepertimana dia menjaga kerjanya. Dari situ bapa itu berubah dan menumpukan sepenuh masanya terhadap menjaga anaknya. Beliau menjadi seorang bapa yang terover misalinya.
Satu berita yang amat menarik dan menakjubkan juga adalah filem thai saya BRAVE ataupun BERANI telah pun mendapat penjual dari Amerika dan sekarang ini sedang di tayang di American Filem Market di Los Angeles untuk pengedar-pengedar disana. Untuk Mklumat lanjut mengenai BRAVE sila layari.

am a malaysian in london, and recently got hold of your SUMO-lah VCD from my boyfriend who brought it from KL. loved it absolutely! got my local friends to watch it and they too loved it! i ve never offered them a malay movie to watch cos most of 'em are the cinta-cintun type movies but this definitely made them laugh! its a pity that ur BULI BALIK vcd didnt have english subtitles, if not they'd be well amazed at how malaysians too can come up with excellent movies!

Ada ura2 tentang tragedi pembunuhan Nurin Jazlin hendak difilemkan, I harap U tak terlibat dgn projek nie sebab x baguslah kisah tu hendak difilemkan buat masa ini kerana ia masih dalam siasatan Polis dan pembunuhnya masih belum ditangkap. Lagipun ia mendapat bantahan drpd keluarga Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.

Dude, I am a Penangite and Nasi Kandar is a dear subject to me. So YOU BETTER NOT MESS IT UP or I wILL FONG YOU!! I hate it when people misinterpret our own culture - probably cuz they don't bother to do the necessary research on it. Anyway, I read your notes on the film about the father bla bla bla.. Here's a thought. The Nasi Kandar business is and has always been a 'family business'. If you go to Penang you would see generations of nasi kandar restaurants owner taking over from their predecessors. I would go into Hameediah and the owner would recognize me cuz when his father was still around, my mum and dad were frequenting the place etc.. you get the picture right? So if the angle for the movie is a nasi kandar owner who neglected his son/daughter.. then its gona be a bit weird cuz like all great Chinese mechanics, nasi kandar makers are groomed since they were young by their fathers. Hence, spending their time after school and weekends at the stall learning about curry leaves and the healing properties of cloves (apparently) on a daily basis and (I hope) spending much quality time with their dads. Well, I might be off the mark, and your script might totally be on a different track altogether :D.. And Please, please... be the first Malaysian director not to voice dub the entire movie?? Is that possible to do? Dubbing stopped in the 70's man.. (or was it 60's?) I mean, if the actor/ress has a weird voice then by all means (a certain currently popular actress comes to mind) give her the doraemon and nobita treatment. Invest in a good sound guy/ mic or something, find better outdoor locations, get actors who can actually project. I mean u might as well film the whole darn thing on a camcorder if u were gona dub it later right? (Maybe I should dub my cousin's wedding video.. hhmm).. Ah well, the 'Prof' eats regularly at a restaurant called MMZ in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. a piec of information that someone might choose to use,.. or not.
p/s: If everybody butters up all the time, the toast gets soggy.. get it?

anyway i watched Sumolah 5 times. hahaha call me crazy but it was damn funny and the best movie ever. lain dari yang lain. coz selalunya filem2 lain terlalu focus on cinta. but most of ur movies i notice selalu ada mcm moral of the story like teaching others to be more motivated, determined and etc. so in a way or two u actually educate the audience. bukan setakat cerita kosong. cayalah bro. will always support u :)

2. Bring a copy of local newspaper; it can be The Star, NST, Metro, Malay Mail, Utusan Melayu, Berita Harian, Sin Chew Jit Poh, Nanyang Siang Pow, or any Tamil dailies.
3. At 3.30pm sharp, crumple the newspapers and throw them inside the rubbish bins.
4. Disperse IMMEDIATELY
NOTE:
