I really... really hope the momentum keeps on going and BAIK PUNYA CILOK becomes the monster MALAYSIAN movie of 2005. Ada satu cerita tu, satu family hampa tak dapat tengok BPC kerana ticket habis dan oleh sebab itu, TERPAKSA...TERPAKSA tau.... tengok KINGKONG. To those of you who haven't watched BPC, please... please make a date with us at any of the cinemas near you because from the feedback that i have been getting... it is a movie u must not miss kalau you mencari something different in MALAY MOVIES.
Having said all that, i just wanna say that every film project for me is like school. I learn so much from each experience and will definitely try to make the next project better and i pray that god will always give me room to improve... so that i can keep giving u guys better and better stuff. Cip! Million billion trillion congrats!! I watched BPC last night...full house!! And panggung tu punya gegar tak yah citer la...kingkong pun bole merajuk bawak diri kalau tgk camna semua org enjoy and having fun with BPC. Just that few sosek2 masa part Jerry gi jumpa Aben & Bob kat balai tu, polis tu kata kat Jerry, "ok awak ada 5 minit je"..but the scene seems so long sampai i heard people at my back said "kata tadi 5 minit je.."..hehe small things to be taken care of i think. And Na'a Murat...superb...never thought of hearing that 'kelantenglish'in a film! And i love the ending bila awie tangkap sayu dan jiwang mengenangkan nasib ikan tuh...ingatkan nak lepas!! Hampeh.. Apa2 pun congrats to all BPC cast, DIRECTOR, producer...and all crew..the film mmg menggeletek hati, buah pinggang, jantung dan semua organ2 dalaman..

Punya la excited gilerrr sampai booking tiket sehari sebelum hari pembukaan.. Ternyata Cip telah berjaya membawa pembaharuan dalam filem melayu. Yang bestnya semalam bukannya orang melayu saja yg tengok, malah ada orang cina dan india yg tgk...(hitam ka, putih ka, hijau ka, kita semua orang malaysia...MALAYSIA BOLEHHH...) So TAHNIAHHHHHH sekali lagi buat CIP, teruskan usaha CIP, Insyaallah kami kodok2 sekelian alam akan menyokong CIP dr belakang (sokong je tau, takde buat benda lain kat belakang tu.....) Akhir kata Majulah sukan untuk negara... Adios Amigos, nandri, toceh mama...

saya ingin mengucapkan tahniah diatas idea, jalan cerita, usaha, masa yang telah diambil serta wang yang telah dilaburkan untuk pembikinan serta promosi filem ini. Dari satu sudut filem ini lain dari filem Malaysia sejak 20-30 tahun ini yang lebih bertemakan cinta. Dari sudut lain pula kualiti keseluruhan filem ini saya rasa sama saja seperti filem lain. Kualiti filem ini tidak setanding dengan filem seperti sepet serta gol n gincu. Bagi pendapat saya penghujung BPC agak sedikit celaru yang telah mencacatkan mutu filem ini secara kesuluruhannya. Diharap Saudara Afdlin akan terus menghasilkan filem2 yang lebih bermutu. BPC 3.5/5.

Buli was aired on TV just a month before this, and people still have fresh memories from it. and i'm quite sure there are quite a lot of those who enjoyed Buli on TV, ended up lining for BPC's tix!nice marketing strategy, or was it a coincidence?
Actually other Malay movies also used this method of advertising, taking advantage of the "Tak payah tgk wayang cerita melayu,tgk masa Raya tahun depan" ideologi. but since I didnt enjoy the movies on TV, so I didn't go for the movie.
But as for buli and BPC, yang aku tgk sampai hilang CD Buli (ori tau) aku, the airing was like a Nescafe and KFC ads...serves as a reminder. tak paham? tanya bebudak marketing. aku tak reti nak explain sesangat

hehe..the movie was...HILARIOUS??..my frens n i laughed since we entered the wrong cinema until we went out from the correct door..tehehee..sgt xcited (or actually dah lambat masuk) sampai termasuk pintu sblah..we were quite surprised coz org yg jage tiket tu kate BPC full house tp time ktorg masuk siap buleh pindah2 seat tgh lg..tetibe kuar pkataan cina ktorg dah rase smacam..that's when we realised dah tersilap..dgn pnuh khormatan dan prasaan malu2 ktorg kuar n masuk the right cinema..but dah terlepas 10 mins kot..haih sedeyh..but mmg best gler..my fren gelak..cam over gler..sblum lawak dier glak n selepas lawak dier tak berenti2 cam rase nak sumbat mulut dier ngan plastic cheezels tu je..neways..good job bro! looking forward for more n more movies that cud cheer my days up!!~

congratulations on such wonderful movie! BPC is definitely worth watching. Among *very few* malay movies that leave me a satisfactory feeling in the end of the movie. the feeling of..'waaah..bestnye citer ni..puas hati!'..and not..'ntah hape2 ntah cite camni..buat rugi duit je!'. I especially like your way of telling the story through snapshots of black-and-white pictures with that 'tukang karut' story-teller. So original and simply amazing!

After we read an-excellent-and-well-described-non-professional review from the blogger named Solidmind, we found some strong reasons why we have to support BPC. Honestly, 11 of us, really influenced by his review, to go and watch your really impressive movie last night. I think it is good for you and everyone else to read his review, since he described it very well.

I come..I Saw..you conquer it!! very unique in a way i can't really tell the outcome that easily (which is quite abnormal when i'm watching a malay movie)..Two thumbs up..ader dua-tiga round lg nak tgk nih..haha.Anyway..1 suggestion..put some ad in ur blog..at least it can generate money for your any upcoming crazy ideas!! :-) Google Adsense perhaps.

Damn!! I have yet to watch the movie... after PHSM, this is the second malay movie yang i excited nak mampus nak tengok... i hope it won't let me down like that stupid Pontianak yg mengaum macam kucing jantan cari kucing betina (FYI, i never watched malay movie in the cinema, ever! and PHSM pun tunggu VCD kuar je!)
i hubby watched it and he said damn bloody kelakar (siot! gi nengok time wiffy kat spital after surgery!! kalau tak disebabkan perut ni kena belah and the effect of the annesthetic dah habis, memang discharged ajer terus gi nengok!!)
